K2 is a mixture of herbs and spices that are sprayed with chemicals called synthetic cannabinoid. These chemically engineered ingredients are similar to THC, the psychoactive ingredients in marijuana. The five primary chemicals used in K2 are: Cannabicyclohexanol, CP-47,497, JWH-018, JWH-073, JWH-200, which are what the test keys in on for detection.
It is not easy to determine exactly what is in K2 because the chemists who produce this drug constantly change the formulas of the molecular structures to stay in the “Legal Loophole” and avoid arrest and confiscation by the DEA. There are currently over 260 synthetic Cannabinoids on the market. K2 is an unregulated mixture of any combination of these different compounds which makes K2 very dangerous drug.
